From the beginning I have been going to Rotterdam Zoo (since 2007), the greenhouses are my favorite place. I still remember how wonderful it was to see many special birds (which I had never seen before) and so many beautiful plants, flowers and trees. It is a special world and of course it still remains a wonderful place to me. It is nice to sit somewhere to look at everything and to sketch. I got always ideas for my work. It is also a nice place to feel again in harmony with life.
