This painting seemed right to make a wish for 2013: I hope more love and respect for nature. And of course for each other throughout the world. 

The Art Route will be present at the Christmas Markt (at the Helm, at City Hall in Middelburg) from 20th to 29th December. I'll be there with my work on the 28th and 29th. Welcome!

A few notes about September

Sketching in Oranjezon, a protected nature area in Vrouwenpolder.

 In Oranjezon many animals lives free, as these ponies.

The dunes of Oranjezon were formed between 1200 and 1700.

An extra table to work in my atelier. 

 The topic for the next art route in Middelburg, 7 October: pumpkins. See also my blog about pumpkins. Once when I came home from work,  I found these pumpkins on my garden table. It was a present from Anna.

 So I immediately started to working.

And two weeks later I found this beautiful specimen back on my garden table, also from Anna. 

Art and Cultural Route in Middelburg

On Saturday and Sunday (1 and 2 September) takes place in Middelburg, the Art and Culture Route (www.kunstroutemiddelburg.nl). On Saturday there is a market event at the Market. For this market, I made ​​these folders and a box.

Moved to Middelburg

Moved from Delft (photo) to Middelburg, end of juni 2012

Fortunately my plants and cacti have survived the move. One of my cacti, often stood as a model for my work, is now flowering.

It was a lot of work but sometimes I go out cycling...

 Vlissingen

I travel for my work in The Hague for a while. In the two hour trip I make drawings on envelopes, in the train.  I find my inspiration in the landscapes and clouds that I see from the train, my flowers and snails in my garden, a sunflower that I got from Vicky and some fantasie (birds that want to deliver some mail).
